Went live on a 2016 upgrade yesterday. About 1/5 of workstations prompted for UI selection (did not have PU1) - the rest did not, also Sage Advisor did not report any available updates (PU1). I can't tell why only some prompt for UI on first startup. Maybe it is very first startup overall (i.e. First to login) but I could swear I got promoted more than once. Just an update / observation. I think Sage could benefit from a pop up that states ""here is what's new"". Though I have low confidence they could use that space wisely for pushing anything except bolt-on stuff they want to sell. Maybe it would be a good 3rd party app and the community could create the update info.

I also ran into both of those situations...some workstations asking for UI selection and Sage Advisor not finding any available updates. This customer has been running 2016 without any issues for about a month. 10 users with IM, SO, and PO.

I did Sage 100 2016.1 on server and workstation setup on new Windows 10 workstation and there was no prompt. Set it up in Classic.
