Wells Fargo ACH - am trying to send an ACH file to Wells Fargo in CTX format and it's crapping out on the 7 (CTX Addenda lines) saying the Addenda is invalid format. The funny thing is that the MAJORITY of that line is free-form and every field that is NOT is exactly as they say it should be. Anyone worked through this?

Are you sure all the Addenda field is human readable? How is the file created?

@DanBurleson - Sage creates the Addenda field and it is actually pretty tame compared to the example Wells Fargo gave us, which had lots of special characters in it. Sage uses a vendor name, comment, amount fields. We thought maybe the decimal places in the amount fields, but took them out and replaced with 0 and still an error. Wells was nice enough to give us the documentation and told us to figure it out... the documentation matches what we have, so that was extremely helpful.

Generally speaking, there may be allowed characters A-Z, 0-9... this type of restriction should be in the documentation.
