General Consultant Discussion

Well the weather flight cancellations are starting for those in the east. Printed my boarding pass only to receive an email 20 minutes later than the flight is cancelled tomorrow AM. Best replacement flight is now Wednesday AM...... Deja vu all over again as a repeat of last year...... Perhaps we should holding the conference in April......

OH no ! Did you try to fly out today? It is beautiful out here in LA :) Seeing the Grand baby and going to SD tomorrow.

Snowing a bit right now. The thought did not cross my mind.... Chances are all flight today have been cancelled.

@JeffSchwenk - I am all for moving the conference to April or May. I am sure there are advantages to having it in Feb, but I was very surprised last year that MAS 90 consultants would schedule anything prior to the Corporate tax deadline (3/15) since many of us work closely with our MAS customers on year-end stuff.

Delayed in CT. Waiting to see if they cancel or fly me to Philadelphia and have me miss my connection. Whatever you do with your dates just remember there are events cropping up left and right. Just got one for Avalara in NOLA in May. I think the smaller groups will eventually comarket because I see very few people hopping to multiple events spaced weeks apart. Especially not with flying becoming increasingly more of a hassle each year. Hell the wisest thing might be to plan some event concurrent with Summit. Use the Sage ticket for meals and entertainment.

@WayneSchulz - I absolutely love that idea! In fact, we (ASI) might be doing that very thing corporately for all of us to simply get together for internal meetings. Skip the sessions, eat the food and drink the unlimited drinks. For $99, why the hell not?

I'm not sure Sage will hold the price at $99 for later registrations. Also Sage will lock out any conference rooms in official hotels.

Was our meeting last year at an official hotel? Often many of us stay nearby at a significantly lower cost than the ""official"" hotel.

Nice and sunny here in San Diego. Easy flight. Glad I left the winter parka at home.

Or Wednesday AM.... If I hadn't fallen asleep at the switch, I could have hopped a flight this PM (it hasn't been cancelled yet) and overnighted in Charlotte with my daughter. By the time I called for this change, AA had already put someone else's butt in MY original flight's seat!!!!

Well, today weather is in the mid forties. Hopefully flights move tomorrow AM. With luck, I may be at the morning coffee/candy break of tomorrow's session.
