Well, let's see who is working and who isn't! I have this perform logic in my VI export job (v5.00). The customer would like it to select/read the prior day's invoice date. This one is set 'Before Write' to select/read current day's invoice date. Can anyone help me (I didn't write this one so don't have any idea). Thank you.

Is it possible that the user enter the date that they are looking for and enter that as a runtime value?

They run this as a scheduled job. They want to select the prior days invoices. They forwarded me this perform logic thinking it could be modified easily for the date.

7 or 8 years ago I gave up on VI Export jobs. At the time there were too many limitations (couldn't export field headers, not all clients had it, etc). So I learned Excel and Access queries. Haven't regretted that decision once...... Sooooo much easier....

Personally I like using crystal reports and visual cut. Easy to use (format) and schedule. (Not to mention inexpensive)

You could also use Sage Intelligence if the data is supposed to end up in excel. SI jobs can be scheduled similarly to the way @JimWoodhead mentions about Visual cut. Using windows task scheduler.
