Well here's something I thought would be easy but it doesn't turn out to be easy. My customer wanted to hide the ""qty in shipping"" and ""Qty on hand less ship"" on the qty tab in item maintenance/inquiry (version 4.40). I found that you can hide the fields in the top, but for some reason, it lets you in to modify the totals, but the totals section that comes up for editing is NOT the totals in the screen! How bizarre! So if you hide the fields above, you still get totals for fields that are hidden.
