We ran into an issue and I wanted to know if anyone had any solutions or suggestions on how to keep this from happening in the future. Client has Sage Exchange, in troubleshooting an issue in RMA, our tech created a test company and copied the data over to do some troubleshooting and testing. Apparently, this created an additional connection with Exchange and because it was attempting to link Sage exchange to the new company and then Exchange blocked their IP address so then they could not process any transactions. The response from SPS was "" A user from your side created a test company account in Sage 100 for test purposes as you confirmed in your activity log. This was the reason for the multiple connections. the IP Address was blocked because we saw 18k failed attempts to our vault system within 10 minutes.""
So, my question is has anyone run into this before and is there any workaround at the time of creating the company that would keep this from happening? Thanks in advance! Pam
