    We need to start looking at options for this group. From what I've seen this update makes the service less useful than before. As much as I hate the thought of Microsoft I think we need to re-open Yammer as a potential.

    What about that forum service I emailed you about a week ago? Can't recall the name ... The advantage of forums is that you can create certain topics that are sticky so they stay at the top of all discussions. And you can save / store documents.

    I just don't want to have to manage any of the back end technology. We have the funds and there's a lot to be said of offloading all of that worrying about making sure a forum stays running, etc.

    Agreed. Take a look at this though. I think it's a subscription and it combines most of the SC features with forum features. NOTE: I'm not saying that this is the tool for us - I think there are other, similar ones out there that might be advantageous. http://moot.it/

    It looks like they made some real changes on the administrative back end.
