We just upgraded a client from 4.5 to 2014, uninstalled the old workstation setup and installed the new workstation setup. We were able to migrate the data but now nothing will happen when we start MAS. MAS doesn't open and no error message is received. have already uninstalled and reinstalled. Any ideas what to try?

Can you try starting mas by running the pvxwin32.exe from the Home folder? Then run ""startup.m4p"". Does this work?

Is there an error when you run startup.m4p?

Also, when we attmept to run on the server, the memory goes to 100 % and requires a reboot and yet MAS still doesn't open.

It almost sounds like when you migrated system files there was bad data that got brought over. Any 3rd party enhancements?

No 3rd party enhancements according the the accounting team as well as the IT group. I do think it had something to do with the migration as well as that we smoothly with no issues but broke after that process.

I had the exact same problem doing the exact same thing last week. Everything appeared to install and migrate and even the Workstation setup installed. But when clicking on the Sage 100 icon to open the program, nothing happened. It turned out that when I extracted the files not all the files came over. No explanation for this. I compared these to a good installation then copied and pasted the missing files and folders and all was well.

What program did you install the client files from? I ALWAYS right click on autorun.exe and run as administrator. I think @BethBowers posted a while ago that if you don't do it this way, some files will NOT be installed. Just a thought.
