We just recently upgraded to the 2015 version of Sage 100. We also upgraded to the newest Sage Intelligence module. The old versions were then taken off the server and relocated after the data migration. My issue is that we did not realize we should have exported my report from the old SI so I could import it into the new SI. We still have all the files intact, but do not know where to find the file that I could import into the new SI. I read that it is possible to import either a condensed file or non-condensed file. The main difference is the file extension. Would you be able to give me some guidance as to where to find the report file and if there are any special instructions I should follow.

Just received from an end user - is there a common location they need to look?

Relevant Sage info on the proper way to import/export. I think this customer is looking for an after-the-fact-I-forgot-to-export-first method.

They will need to export the reports from the old system if they have not done so. This will give them the option of condensed (al_) or non-condensed (alx) but in either event they still need to do the export. You can then move the file(s) either alx or AL_ over to the new SI repository location and then create a new folder and then import the report files into the new folder. One issue you may run into is that if the source containers have the same ID in both systems and they are different then the output may need to be adjusted.

Wayne - you might be able to create the report name in v2015 using a designer template in v2015, open the xlxt file (from the old repository) and then save excel template using the old file. Not sure this will work but worth a try.

Customer self-upgraded so I'm providing them the above KB article. If they want to create a paid project I may be back ;-)
