    We have had 2 customers in the past week call in on an issue with a Make to Stock closing entry on a FIFO item that has an OVERDIST tier. Apparently although the transaction detail looks correct, it posts a HUGE variance (millions of dollars). It appears to be fixed in R3-Astro with PU8.

    One customer is on 4.40.6 with R2 and the other is on 4.40.7 with R3.

    We've been running into different problems relating to 4.4 and FIFO costed items. Supposedly they've been fixed with the current release, but you might check with Support. I didn't run into your specific problem, but have heard others complaining about 4.4 JobOps & FIFO problems.
