We have a prospect appears to be a good fit for Sage 100. Their needs include a POS solution and I would like to get some input on recommended options based upon your collective experience. At this time, I am looking for general information and recommendations. We have worked with Fusion POS with PFW in the past and have been reasonably happy with the product (but not so much with the price point). We never worked with the Hightower (now SWK) tool due to not supporting remote registers but am willing to look at it again. I have heard of AccuPOS but have neither direct nor indirect experience of the product or company. Are there others we should consider? Are there any we should run from like our hair is on fire? Thanks in advanced for your thoughts (as verbalized as responses please ;-) )

@haroldwestover has a very nice POS system that interfaces with MAS or can be used as a stand alone.

I have a customer (ski mfg / shop) who uses Accupos. I can connect you with my contact. I think they're reasonably happy (about 2 years?) and as always the devil is in the details as to what areas of the program they use vs what your customer may contemplate using.

www.gopositive.com Positive Retail Management (PRM) Its a true POS system with all the bells and whistles. Most Sage POS customers only use MAS for GL but we have integrated Sage AP and AR. Regardless you absolutly need to use the POS inventory due to Matrix items, buy X get Y free, Mix and match. It is also helpful to know what is avaialbale in the other locations from each cash drawer (lane) if there are multiple sites. What is really nice is that if the internet goes down, you can still process orders and with a wireless cradle you can even process credit cards. PRM has its own CC processor but integrates with Mecury Payment and interfaces with pcCharge so you can use any processor. The fact that it is much less expensive than the other offerings available is just a bonus , both initially and annual maintenance.

@davidoverholt - AND there is NO conflict with Sage Upgrades. Unless Sage changes the Table or Field names, a Sage Upgrade will have no affect on the POS system and vice versa.
