We have a MAS 200 4.40.0.6 distribution client who is experiencing very long invoice updates. They produce a couple hundered invoices a day in multiple batches. Update times at the end of the day used to be 10 to 15 minutes and now it is taking well over an hour. None of our other clients have reported any issues like this. Their IT says virus protection is not doing any real time scanning on the MAS 200 data. Has anyone else seen anything like this?

Like you I'm suspicious of Anti-Virus or Malware scanners. Even more suspicious that IT really knows how they work...

Me too. We came to an agreement and I shut it off. We will see how they do tonight.

I am having the similar issue except with AP invoice and Check register. I am suspicious of a corrupted file somewhere but haven't resolved it my issue either. My issues started after upgrading to V4.3 to V4.4.

The time the issue started is not totally clear yet, but it could very well have been at the upgrade from 4.3 to 4.4. A while back I posted the following about the same client. Never figured it out and didn't think it has impacted anything except file record count. I don't know if it could have some bearing. While inspecting a client's IM_PeriodPostingHistory file for a blank warehouse code issue, I noticed the Data Conversion from 4.3 to 4.4 had created an empty beginning balance record in fiscal period 01 for every fiscal year up to 2094 for every item in all warehouses including the blank one. GL and IM setup seem clean and I have no idea why it decided to stop at 2094.

Is MAS being run as a service or an application? Any thought of running the update in MAS 90 mode on the server? What happens if you reboot the server?

I reinitialize AR-transactionposting. And invoice data entry files when empty.
