We have a customer who just converted to Sage 100 ERP Advanced 2014 Product update 4 and ever since they've upgrade they receive an error indicating that Sage 100 has stopped working (see attached). They receive the error while performing various tasks (i.e. launching the application, accessing a new task, printing, reports, etc. It is not specific to any user or to any task. Each time they receive this error a corresponding Windx spawn error pops up on the application Server. They are currently running the application server as an application and not as a service. We have identified that it is not related to the crystal report form changes during AP check printing. Any ideas on how to resolve this issue? @RichardBryant

How are the users set up? Do they have the ""Spawn tasks from server"" option selected?

@ThereseLogeais we did confirm that none of the users have the 'Spawn tasks...' option selected.

Try selecting it for the users.

Maybe Data Execution Protection on the client and server? Data Execution Protection should be disabled for the MAS90 \ Home \ PVXWin32.exe process -Right-click My Computer, select Properties, Advanced Tab, under Performance click Settings -Choose the Data Execution Protection tab -If ""Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select"" is selected, then click Add and browse to the MAS90\Home\PVXWin32.exe process, click OK twice. Reboot -If ""Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services only"" is selected, DEP is already off

Or antivirus (check that the exclusions were updated to the 2014 location)

Spawn tasks should be selected for all.

The issue was related to a Citrix setting that we had enabled. Thanks for all the suggestions and feedback.

What was the setting that caused it?

Was it Memory or CPU optimization?

The Citrix setting was related to the Edgesight Agent that was running. The Sage application was calling the Edgesight agent directly which caused the 'Sage 100 has stopped working' error. Once we disabled the agent (which is only for reporting), the issue was resolved.
