We have a customer importing their Budget data using the GL Exchange Utility. Is there a way to import the budget data but instead of overwriting the data, the newly imported data is appended to the existing data so that the budget number becomes a total of the two? Import 1 - Account #1 - Import amt = 600 (total 600) Import 2 - Account #1 - Import amt = 300 (total 900)

It doesn't look like it. I'd probably export the existing budget, include it as a separate tab on the spreadsheet, use a VLOOKUP on a third spreadsheet to total them and then re-import it. Tedious, I suppose, but maybe there's another solution........

If you are appending the data, take a look at the budget revision data entry menu. There are options to increase the budget by an amount or by a percentage. This might accomplish what they want.

What if you use VI to import into the Budget Revision file instead of GL Exchange. I think you can increment or use a calculated field to add to the amount.
