We have a Crystal Report that's pointing to an Access database which is in turn pointing to MAS tables. The Report only has one table added to it (POSOIems). We get the error below when we try to add it to the Reports Menu I believe this is due to the fact that POSOIems is NOT a Providex table. Is there any way around this?

To use Access it must use the access direct driver Not an ole ODBC one. @DanBurleson has previously posted about this.

Under File | Summary of the report properties, verify that it has the property keywords - Converted to version 4.50. If it doesn't, MAS will try to verify the database and give you this error.

If this is a crystal only looking at access tables then this error you show is expected. The screen shot that Jeff shows is where it looks for the trigger to display the first image in your doc. If the keywords do not show the correct version it prompts to convert. The second image is the conversion failing. This is expected since the mascrcw.ini doesn't have a listing for your access database and fields. Although it shows as failed it is only because your tables are not in the ini file. If your report works out of MAS then change the keyword to match those of other reports in MAS (ie. change the version number) and you should be good.

@JeffSchwenk and @ToddMartin Bingo! Jeff & Todd have it. Just change your Keywords field. There is nothing in your report to convert if it's based on Access tables.
