    We have a client where the logo on the invoice form when ran thru paperless office to generate the PDF's to be emailed looks like it has a black background. When previewing from the workstation, printing from the workstation, all looks correct. If we generate the paperless office PDF from the server it all looks correct, but when we generate the same PDF's from a workstation to be emailed out it places a black background on their company logo. Any thoughts on what could be causing this?

    I might first try tinkering with the printer setting inside the Crystal .rpt. If a printer is specified, try changing to 'no printer' - or vice versa.

    i'll add that i've observed that only the first image added to the report had this symptom, so i resolved it by added a dummy image above the logo with a very small size and a white background so it was ""invisible"".

    Remembered something else you can try, under File > Report Options, there is a checkbox to retain original image depth or something along those lines, you can try toggling that.

    FYI, this is what i searched for as i remember seeing them in the past, ""crystal paperless image black"", just without the quotes.

    I had the same problem with a client. Make sure that the Adobe version on the workstation is the same as the version that shipped with the Sage 100 version. My client's workstation had Adobe XI, but Sage 100 v2017 comes with Adobe X. Uninstalled Adobe XI from the workstation and installed Adobe X; it solved the problem.

    It was the ""retain original image depth"" check box, never had to check that before but it appears to have resolved the issue, thanks again!

    What file type was used to insert the image? I try and use gif whenever possible as it supports image transparency... The ability of the background images to pass through the logo. Not sure if this is the root cause but glad to learn there is a solution.

    One thing to keep in mind is that all images are converted to BMP internally. https://apps.support.sap.com/sap/support/knowledge/public/en/1964141 see note in resolution section
