Sage 100

We have a client that will be upgrading to Sage 100 Advanced ERP 2013. The SPM lists VMWare ESX 4.1 and VMware vSphere Hypervisor (ESXi) 4.1, but these now a set end of life coming up. I tried Sage Support to try to get an answer from them to see if the newer versions would be supported, but all I could get from them was a non-answer. So what I am asking is do you have clients using 5.0 or 5.1? Are you aware of any issues?

The guy in Prod Mgmt who led the charge to have virtualization tested and supported left the company in 2010. Ironically he went to work for VMWare (Hassan Fahimi). The guy in QA who tested all the VMs that you see in the SPM and is the only one who knows how to set it up - he was laid off in Nov 2012. Never mind. I have 1 client using 5.1 on MAS 200 4.50 without issue. Hope that helps.

Which also speaks to why a group like 90 Minds is so important. Sage is not going to proactively communicate much of anything so member to member experiences are increasingly the way we'll find problems.
