We have a client running MAS 90 4.4 where we downloaded the Designer Add-In and installed. It indicated the Designer Add-In reports would need to be imported. I created a ""Report Designer Add-In"" folder and located the reports that need to be imported. On the Tools menu we found that ""Import Report"" was missing; however, ""Bulk Import/Update Reports"" was there. Bulk Import created the following error. [C:\Program Files\Sage Software\SMI\ReportUpdate\en] folder does not exist. I created that folder and put a copy of the Report Designer Add-In .al_ files there. Tried Bulk Import again and get the same message. Why is the Import File menu choice missing? Would it make sense to remove the 4.4 version and reinstall? Will the 4.5 version work with 4.4 GL, and if so, would it make sense to try 4.5? The client is stuck on 4.4 for another month or so but needs to see if they can do what they want with the Designer and Designer Add-In.

I was told at Summit that while the later SMI versions are not officially supported on 4.4, they do in fact work.
