    We have a client on S100 Standard at 4.50.6. They have Piece Work for Payroll & TimeCard (TC-1010). Anyone ever figured out how to get Pieces from TimeCard through Payroll to the Check Stub? The client has VI and CO but neither seem to be of use here.

    The documentation states that ""The Number of Pieces wil not transfer to the Payroll module."" They do transfer to Job Cost. I looked at this extended solution and decided it did not provide sufficient functionality, specifically for agriculture. We opted to set this up directly in Payroll, although there is the Time Card front end. The problem we have run into is that the combination of hourly wage and piece rate must be equal to or more than the mimimum wage. We have a report that does these calculations, and then they have to manually adjust the input. This only happens at the beginning and end of the growing season when there isn't as much product to pick.

    Thanks, @JohnHoyt. If these modules had been brought to the BF, it would be a piece of cake. I gave the client the news but indicated if the piece rate was consistent for a given payroll, we could introduce the piece rate as a Crystal Parameter when printing checks and back calculate the Pieces from the amount. It is unfortunate that their isn't a good replacement for Payroll that is more of a match for Business Framework Sage 100 in price, flexibility and implementation time. We have had about a dozen MAS 90 clients look at Abra over the years and only one actually bought.
