The SageCRM 7.3 for 2016 link seems to be broken, and I don't see any 100c download. Is it the same installer just different keys? Does that mean we can't have a 100 and a 100c on the same machine?

I'm curious, how many of you lead with the Sage 100 On-Premises Subscription over the past couple of years? I lead with it on every sale, and we picked up some customers that would have never purchased Sage 100 due to the old ""barrier to entry"" pricing. I always provided the customer with the Perpetual Licensing pricing as an option, and I always pointed out the 48 month breakeven point. I believe the Activation Fee per User would have prevented a few of those sales. And, what is up with adding another layer of business care? I cannot complete my Acumatica training fast enough...ugh!

From this point forward I think the pricing will be Sage 100c. Until it changes. With the next regime. Just. Like. EES.....

@PhilMcIntosh - I contacted Sage and this is their response.... With that here is what I do know. The code base between 100 and 100c is the same. We simply have logic to read your key and if you are not entitled to 100c set your launcher and UI to classic and then disable the fields. I have heard that you, partners, will only get one key which is for 100c.

I hope everyone is keeping the history of keys for their customers and themselves...

So, basically, customers have been spending over % per year on an ever increasing base price. This means statistically they are rebuying Sage100/MAS90 every 4-5 years. And in the last 10years, there has been very little material improvement other than some spit & polish and a few purchased features thrown in. Now after you've been loyally paying maintenance since say 1995, you are not entitled to the next significant R&D investment (the new UI) even though you funded it and then some. You will be getting no enhancements other than major bug & security fixes, but you'll still be asked to pay 20% per year. However, we'll happily charge you even more to 'upgrade' to 100c, and sign, in the fine print, that your software will stop working if you don't pay far more than the 20+% per year for another stream of tiny improvements which 100 won't see. This is the biggest whore and customer abuse I've EVER seen in this industry. Customers are MORONS for paying maintenance for this product and this company. I'm so glad I stopped focusing on it 5+ years ago. Nobody is perfect, but this is outright scumbaggery.
