Our consultants don't see a big value in the Sage 300 Technical group, however with that said they don't experience the same kind of issues in a 300 installation as in a 100 installation. For example, we had a 100 installation trying to set up Positive Pay Export and selecting Standard Fixed Format. On the controllers workstation an exception was encountered each time using that format but could set up other formats. However going to a different workstation the set went up just fine. The Sage 100 technical group is great at answering these types of questions, but we rarely run into these types of issues in 300. Our consultants don't see the kind of activity occurring in the 300 technical group and they do in the 100 group, so they feel that there isn't a lot of 300 consultants participating. They rely more and more on Sage City, Google and You Tube.
Personally I find the 100 Technical and the other groups informative and interesting to read.
