General Consultant Discussion

We are thinking about offering an educational session around Summit, probably a one-day event with two in-depth sessions, one in the AM and one in the PM. This is preliminary at this point but there has been feedback that this would be welcomed. There would be a fee but the amount would depend on how many people attend. If you are interested, please respond to the poll below. We are looking for general interest in the sessions listed so pick the one you are most interested in (yes, you will get to attend both sessions!) or offer other topics you would be more interested in. Be advised, we may ask for volunteers as well!! Thanks in advance!

How do I vote for all three topics?

While I can absolutely guarantee that there are no aircraft carriers to tour in Las Vegas, I am willingly offering myself to attempt to fill the shoes of Captain Woodhead for this session by scouting and securing a site and making some extra-curricular arrangements for the group. If anyone's worries about facilities is impacting their vote in this poll, I hope having a local involved in the planning calms your concerns.

@BrianRice - Thanks for the offer though I am not sure if ANYONE could fill Capt. Jim's shoes...... Do you have any inside connection with Mr. Las Vegas (http://www.waynenewton.com/)???? We just need to get out the vote now....

Danke Schoen, I do have an inside connection to the team that handles PR for Mr. Newton. Do I expect that we might arrange a tour of Mr. Newton? No.

In college I played in Wayne Newton's band for a fundraiser at Cal Poly. Alas, we haven't kept in touch.

I'll attend regardless of the specific topics - I might learn something. As long as the vendors are in town, I wouldn't mind a half day of presentations. Forget not being a sales pitch - let's hear it directly in dedicated time, rather than on a crowded floor at Summit. I also am certain they would pay for the privilege - i.e. sponsorship. Possibilities may be: TaskCentre by Fisher Technology Purchase Agent (both versions) by Synergistic FusionRMS vs. Hightower POS by Point Solutions

We can add American Payment Solutions to the list of those interested in paying for the privileged to de-bunk the Sage Payments-only option myth.

I agree with @JohnHoyt ! You will get something out of what ever the sessions are about. Look who is in the session - just Partners and they all belong to the 90 Minds group couldn't ask for anything more!!!!

I would attend a session, SI would be good. Not a Wayne Newton fan though!

I realize that this is all preliminary, but any idea what day we are looking at? I am currently only planning on being there the beginning of the week.

Most likely PRE Summit as we know people leave at varying times.

Since Vegas is the home to many impersonators, maybe we could get a Pascal look a like to entertain us....

No impersonator could ever come close to entertaining us as much as the real Pascal did.

John, I know Wayne is tops, though I think Frank Sinatra and his pack was at the top for most of the time, now that would have been good to see. I am sure there is a Frank Sinatra impersonator.
