We are seeing multiple customers with version 4.50.1 show the same form code multiple times in the lookup -- e.g. STANDARD is listed multiple times. Is anyone else seeing this and have a resolution?

I had that issue with a client earlier this year. It was from the keys not properly be expanded in the printer preferences file for PU6 . Turned out that the data dictionary was not correct for the printer Preferences datafile.

Are you talking about SY1GPU?

I thought was the graphic equivelent to sy1rpm.

It need the from name and the workstation

Did you restore that file? Do you have any enhancements ? Originally I had the issue witg multi-bin. The install included dictionary entries in the old layout

No both of these happened after the customer upgraded to version 4.50.1. One came from 4.4 and the other came from 4.3. The key of that file is just a SequenceNo, but there is a workstation name and printer name.

Oh, I see -- it's SY_ReportSetting. WorkstationName was added as a key field at the bottom -- everything initially started with blanks in workstation names and then it started putting in workstation names which creates different keys.

I am reviewing my emails and I had a little different issue. My forms were missing... the oppositve of your problem. but it have to do with the sy_reportsetting file not sy_printerprefences.

yes you found it now. With PU6 and beyond, MAS has a reportsetting per form per workstation so every workstation can have it own printers settings defaults.

Well, displaying the form code multiple times in 4.50 seems to be a bug.

I have this on 4.50.2 (latest PU) --- if not a bug it's exceptionally confusing and not well thought out.

So far as I can tell this is a bug in 4.50 - it creates both a blank workstation name plus a form for the workstation you are working on. No idea what happens if 5 people regularly print checks but I'm guessing I'll be getting a call about why their ""STANDARD"" is duplicated 5 times.

PU 3 for v4.5 has been out for several weeks. Perhaps you've been on vacation. Sorry that you had to return to the rock pile............

continuing the PU 3 upgrade. do the duplicate codes go away after applying the update or is there some housekeeping to attend to?

Okay - so PU 3 fixes the issue - in what way? Not allowing it to create multiple form codes? I installed the patch they provided and then installed PU3 and the duplicate forms still exist. Am I supposed to go and remove manually behind the sceens?

ah...that was my earlier question/concern. I have two clients needing the fix.
