Sage CRM

We are pleased to announce that the latest version of Sage CRM v7.2b for Sage 100 ERP 2013 is now available to your customers and can be downloaded from the Sage Partner Portal. Please join us for a live webcast on Tuesday, November 12, when we will highlight what's new in this release and demonstrate the new features. What are the key features and is this release ready for prime time? Is the interface any better? I hear many issues can be attributed to the less than stellar (still) interface with Sage 100. What do the CRM gurus think?

I am not experienced in this area. The chit-chat I've read seems to indicate that the interface is still not good though I would be hard pressed to give you any specific examples. Maybe someone with more experience can set us straight with details on experiences with the interface.

With my limited number of clients, there seems to be an issue with the interface corrupting the Sage 100 data. Then the CRM tech gets blamed for F'ng up the Sage tables putting me in the middle. At this point, I am not an advocate of the software.

So if you have a new install do you downgrade to a previous version of Sage CRM? I'm not sure how I'd explain later the need to upgrade to 7.2b?

Don't really have a clue. Not sure if I would go backwards. Here's hoping that our CRM experts will toss in their two cents worth.
