Sage 100

We are members of the demo image program with Sage 100. I just pulled down a copy of the demo image but am having trouble getting the logon data from Sage. I have a couple emails and a call into Sheri Thompson at Sage but so far no joy. I have a demo to do next Wednesday that needs to include doclink from Altec. I have a demo image from Altec as well but 100 is at version 2013 and it doesn't have fixed assets or budgeting on the image. The Sage demo image should have both of those as well as doclink and version 2014 of Sage 100. (or should at 86 GB of size). I raised a holy shit fit once and Sage looked at me as if I'd just parked my spaceship out front of Irvine and walked inside in full martian spacesuite. Proceeded to tell me how every Sage partner loved the program. Nobody ever complained. Next year I told them where they could store their image program.

Right, we don't complain. We just stop trying to use it.

Socialcast to the rescue. I found a posted question by @EricAnderson from several months ago that had a link to the document. He had the opposite issue as me. He had the documentation but no download link. Issue resolved. However! Now that I can get into the vm, I am dumbfounded to find that the only thing loaded is SQL, Sage 100 Advanced, and CRM. That's it folks. No OEM products, no complementary Sage products like FAS or Active Planner. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! Why have a demo image program if that's the lame S**t your going to provide? I have 100 loaded on my machine everyday. CRM isn't that hard to load either. It's all the connected products that they want us to cross sell that I'm looking to demo. What a bunch of crap. Fortunately, I was able to get a demo image from Altec with doclink and Sage 100 version 2013. Not much was added in 2014 so I'm going with this. Now to add tools for multi-company from DSD, GetX from XKZero, FAS, and BizInsights. I'm not jacking with Active Planner. I will speak to it and get some screen shots to discuss from through a customer we have running an exact implementation this prospect is looking for. Buyer beware!

I am still trying to get Sheri to process my app from Jan. She keeps telling me to send my fax copy of CC and I do and I keep asking where is it going. I am still not signed up.

Sheri Thompson is very hard to get a hold of and has been for years. I used to cc my Sage rep on emails but don't know that helps. You might want to cc Joo Sohn (Joo.Sohn@sage.com) on a follow-up email @KellySappington .
