@WayneSchulz You got a pretty good response from the linked-in tech support ideas. Seemed like around 30+ gave responses. I'm not on linked in as much as I should be and interesting enough it popped up in an email. I would expect some more responses in the coming days. What is your take on it now?

Concept would be: - Move 90 Minds to Yammer as a paid group - Create our technical groups for MAS (same as here) add in all 90 Minds people plus the ones who pay a fee (from the group post that you're referring to) - Still have closed groups for 90 Minds related discussions Ultimately I felt this would provide a fertile recruiting ground for 90 Minds to cherry pick active members to join as full members and would be probably the strongest North American support group for the MAS product. I believe there might have ultimately be a place to add in vendors for a significantly higher annual fee. Unless I'm mis-reading (and I've been away for a week on vacation) I don't see the support level in the 90 Minds group for this --- a lot of it is based on people not wanting to admit a competitor. I feel like if we are to continue voting on people to get into technical areas we will never admit anyone and will spend a lot of our time on bogus administrative work and arguing. I'm happy to re-visit this but also just as happy to go create the group on my own.

One consideration is that Sage is moving to ecosystems very soon (ex. community.sagecrm.com) and these open forums will be somewhat running parallel to Sage's efforts at building a destination for resellers and end users. And, yes, your customers will be alongside other resellers in these sites so they will be exposed to a bunch of your competitors. Welcome to the internet.

I think the idea is to have a collaborative area for just partners.

    Collaborate on ... what?

    Support.

Essentially I think it will end up being a Sage Forum for just partners.

No ... take a look at the example I provided: http://community.sagecrm.com. Customers and partners swim in the same pool.

I have. Wayne is proposing an equivalent for partners only.

Personally I like the idea of a group where Sage partners can get together and Sage can't say boo about it...until they do.

And you need to close your cough tags properly.

Yeah, but 90 Minds isn't open to everyone. And I realize there are other groups like 90 Minds.

One project at a time please. Let's figure out yeah or neah on admitting people to technical area and moving to Yammer. Then we can move on to additional proposed projects.
