    Watching this a second time, you can basically hear between the lines as the CEO and CFO beg for their job safety. The other thing that is painfully clear: they have set themselves up to be graded on ""Premium Support Contracts"" which explains Pascal's move to eliminate the non-premium contracts (Bronze). By default, Premium contracts will swell with this move. Kind of a shit way to accomplish the goal but maybe it's a ""hate the game, not the player"" thing? http://www.media-server.com/m/p/7h4ij3mf

    The whole thing is so sordid ... Sage is clearly an investment company and consider software a means to the end (returning money to shareholders). They might as well be selling kitchen appliances or office supplies.
