Was just sending an email to a customer on 4.4 to suggest they plan a convenient time to upgrade. I ran out of much in the way of customer benefit to suggest that they do so. Certainly ""stay on a supported version"" is somewhat of a benefit. However the upgrade features are so slim. What is there to really prompt someone who has reached the 4.4 hurdle to go 4.5 or 2013?

Window 8 compatibility is the big one, National accounts, larger AP invoice #, inactive AR and AP customer, bug fixes are the reasons I would give.

I think you're right on Windows 8. It's a fair point to tell a customer that sooner or later someone is going to upgrade a computer to Windows 8 and being current on Sage is going to eliminate surprise upgrades.

The new Pricing by Customer and Product line have been a reason for some of my clients.

I guess it depends what modules the client owns. Sales commission splits defined at customer level and line level commissions are nice features.
