**WARNING:** With Sage 100c you have to give the EU an order form. No other way to process the paperwork to purchase. In this case the EU took it upon themselves to contact Sage (apparently a newbie) _**who proceeded to incorrectly tell this prospective customer that (a) I''m not authorized and (b) Would they like to be referred to someone who is.**_ Let that sink in for a while. If the EU hadn't forwarded this to me I would never have known the conversation existed.

Apparently, this person has been at Sage 2 weeks. She'll check to be sure DSD is authorized and Schulz is on the up and up. From: Sperow, Amy <Amy.Sperow@sage.com> Date: Mon, Oct 17, 2016 at 11:10 AM Subject: RE: Sage 100c Cc: ""wayne@s-consult.com"" <wayne@s-consult.com>, ""Scott, Jeff"" <Jeff.Scott@sage.com> Hi Stewart, I received a note from Wayne as well. I didn't have the DSD Business Systems affiliation to Shulz & Associates before and hope this works for you and Wayne. DSD is not in my partner network, so I need to verify the partner, product certification, and the affiliation between Schulz & Associates and DSD Business Systems. Regarding your note on a grace period I will look into this aspect of what you are asking. From what I understood from my manager, because this is subscription, there is no way, systematically, to allow an extension or grace period. I don't believe this isn't a matter of making an exception, it's a matter of our ability to make this happen. I will be back to you and Wayne shortly. Thanks! Amy

Will the system shut off yet...? If not then Sage is really only asking customers to ignore them.

Are you saying that if an EU is tired of annually sending SAGE ""money is for nothing"" and they don't use Payroll, and don't anticipate needing any new modules. They can stop at v2015 PU4 OR V2016 PU1 and happily use SAGE 100 or 100c out into the future with no issues? Or until they are forced to upgrade due to future new OS or new hardware?
