    I recently encountered an issue opening attached .xlsx files in memo maintenance.  This issue only occurs on the most recent builds of Win 10.

    I spoke to Sage tech support, and I am able to re-create the issue on my Sage 100 version 2017 and 2018 installations that are on my laptop.   It appears to be happening on newer versions of Windows 10.  In the client's office, the attachments open fine on Win 10 Pro version 1803 but do not open on the new Win 10 pro version 1809 computers.  My laptop is Win 10 Pro version 1809 so this makes sense.   Sage claims it is due to be fixed in version 2019 but I am skeptical because the KB article they cited 84928 does not mention the "Sage 100 has stopped working" message that appears.

    This may also apply to .docx files but I have not fully tested it.

    Do the Excel, Trust Center, File Block Settings have any impact on this issue?

    Thanks Moira.  The Excel trust settings don't seem to have an affect.  I unchecked all of the check boxes that would prevent opening a file and Sage 100 still wouldn't open the document.
