Warning on Sage renewals.
I think it's almost repetitive to use the words ""warning"" and Sage renewals together. I mean by now I think most of us know that the renewals have been (and continue) all screwed up.
We had one where Sage sent us a description of the plan as ""Gold"". We invoiced the customer for ""Gold"" sent the request to Sage to commit it as they had quoted it.
Then Sage committed it as ""Silver"" which was ""what the customer had last year"" ...
Um, ok, yeah maybe they did -- but that is not what's on the quote you sent me which we invoiced off......
It's called ""hang the VAR out to dry""
Be very cautious on these quotes when placing and confirming.
