  • 1.  Visual Integrator Error 13

    I have tried everything I know and cannot find anything wrong with the import source file.  I need to know what record and column from the source file that this error occurs on.  Can anyone tell me the syntax to key in at Debug?

    Error 13 SY_SALESTAXCALCULATION_BUS.PVC Line 2332

    Version 2018 PU6

    Into what table are you trying to import?  Do you have Avalara installed?  Did you import the VI or write from scratch?

    The program appears to be reading from the Tax Summary file.  To print the variables from DEBUG

    The values it is using are REC=SUMM$ and KEY=tmpKey$

    >PRINT SUMM$

    >PRINT tmpKey$

    PRINT cTaxSummaryFH                 is the file handle which should ID the open file.

    Thank you for the debug info.  It identified the record in the source file, but there was nothing that I could see wrong with the tax summary record or the source file record.  The file handle was 0 which was just my terminal ID. I've run this import before with no problems,.  I deleted the record from the source file and reran the import and the error occurred, but on a different record.  I decided to re-generate the source file to import from, reran the import and the same error occurred on the same originating record.  Just doesn't make sense.  Because i couldn't get this import to work, I ended up manually generating purchase orders - not fun.

    Error 13 means "File Access Mod Invalid".  You might see if that file might be corrupted.  Was this related to a Job Cost invoice?
