You can try to install VirtualBox or you can buy VMWare Workstation as well. 

Not sure what your workstation specs are, but if you want to run any VMs, you're going to want a minimum of 8Gb of RAM on your workstation (I would recommend 16Gb), especially if you ever plan to have multiple VMs spun up at the same time.

I use VirtualBox as it's files are self-contained and easily portable, whereas moving and copying Hyper-V VMs, while supposedly theoretically possible, is a nightmare to actually accomplish...
With VirtualBox, you can set up one VM with all the other apps you want besides Sage 100 (Office, PDF reader, etc), and then make copies of that and only have to set up Sage 100 and the version of Crystal you need.

I like Oracle's VirtualBox as well. It is not as complex as the other VM's. Even though it is not on Sage's recommended list, for support purposes it works well. The only issue that I ran into, and I think it has more to do with group policies, is Windows 10 on my business laptop wants to activate Hyper-V components when starting up. That stops VirtualBox from running properly. I hope you can avoid that issue.

With internet access being everywhere or access to a hotspot from your cell phone, RDP or CitiXsys access works great from anywhere I would recommend not messing with local VM’s and have VM’s set up on servers for remote access

You have some really good geeks at your firm and they can probably save you a ton of time and hassle.

Gary makes a very good point: remote access broadens your capability and removes the risk of a computer meltdown preceding the demo. It also broadens the access to that VM to others in your team or to prospects on a self-demo basis.

But we also must keep in mind that many of our prospects and customers now, or will want to, host their system somewhere off premises. Demoing with remote VMs subtlely underscores that your product does this "naturally."

I agree with @Gary Feldman and @Jerry Norman regarding remote access. I have used VirtualBox on an RDP and it worked for support/demo purposes.​​
