Sage 100

VI Job locked Sage 100 Std 4.3. Message appears that if I want the current state of the VI job to be reset to NOT RUNNING, click OK. I have done this many times so I know what to expect but the status remains RUNNING. No other users are in VI. Is there any other way to change the status to NOT RUNNING?

Click on job info in VI with necessary rights and click unlock.

That is where I am at and I am logged in with full admin rights. That is what is so perplexing - the Unlock button does not appear.

I think there is an role setting to allow access

I am an administrator, every option in all 3 tabs are checked

Check if there is a task running in Task Manager on the PC where the Job was initaited. You might need to stop it that way

Nothing there either. Do you think rebooting the server would do the trick?

I was hoping there would be a flag that could manually be reset in DFDM but when I look at this VI job, it says the file is empty.

It can't hurt. If rebooting is an option I would definetly try it.

I had this happen with a user not too long ago. I think they rebooted.

An old VI alternative to clicking Unlock button was to use the navigation arrow at bottom of Import Job Maintenance to move to the next job, then move back to the current job. Or move previous then move back to current. In case it's relevant here.

I don't see a navigation bar in version 2014.

They may have removed that for Framework imports.

If rebooting was not convenient, I have used server manager to close open MAS 90 files.
