Does anyone have a VI job they can share (or advice)?  In this case, I'm not sure if the file the client will receive will have the DR and CR amounts in a single field (or if I can request the layout where they are in separate columns).  I need help building a job if the file will only have one Amount field.

I believe a negative DR in GJE should be automatically flipped to a positive CR without special handling.

I prefer single column imports.  Easier to balance.  Back in the day, I would condition the import field to populate the debit if it was greater than zero and populate the credit field if it was less than zero (also use an ABS() (Absolute value) and to skip the zero line.  Kevin probably has the more modern idea.

And Kevin is correct!  I had envisioned having to do something with temp fields & what Jeff said.  :-)

    Thanks!
