Version 5.20.3 Advanced with multiple enhancements (WoScan, ASCG MB & WHM, DSD, etc). Inventory item is set to standard cost and when doing an Inventory transaction appears to go through at correct cost (.45), but when reviewing the transactions in Business Insights, the Units costs are different depending on what warehouse is selected. What would cause this? I thought Standard costing didn't care about warehouses or tiers, am I missing something obvious?

Why do you think your Inventory Transactions rounded to 2-decimal places (0.4500); when the item Standard Cost is 0.4538?

Was there a variance in the register for these items? I'd look in the actual transaction record in DFDM to find the figures actually used for the entry. May give some insight into user input that differs from the standard cost. I also agree with @MadelineStefanou that the cost is not correct in the entries (in your screenshot) for the standard cost.

Excellent point! The cost is being rounded in Transaction entry. The unit cost shows .4538, but the extension is rounded to .45 - the result is the same in the my ABC company. So WAD? Maybe that will be my next Sherlock Holmes project. However, it appears in the DFDM, there are two fields, one for Extended Cost, and one for ExtendedStandard cost, as well as one for UnitCost and StandardUnitCost. So I just needed to pull in different info to the BI report. The ridiculous thing, is the Out of the Box 'Standard' BI Report uses the ""Unit Cost"" field, so if a customer uses Standard cost, I guess they (or me!) are just supposed to know to go grab the other?

IMHO the extended standard cost should be the same number of digits as the cost field. Not that it isn't WAD, but seems wrong - how can the cost ever be correct?!? Test in ABC : first, confirm that there the cost field is set to use 4 decimal places in CI Setup, then confirm that the extended/standard cot fields are indeed only 2 decimal places in the Transaction Entry, and not (somehow) an issue with user entry. If there is only 2 decimal places instead of the 4 that should be reflecting, I would be calling Sage.
