Version 2013 - on both our internal MAS 200 and a client MAS 90 upgrade, we have noticed a significant lag in the time it takes to 1) begin the AP or PR check printing task after pressing the Print button (in our case, it takes 25 seconds to generate the ""Last Check Printed"" window and printing actually commences - for a run of 7 checks. Using a stock check form. It takes about the same amount of time for an AP Invoice Register to pop the PDF document up on the screen - with only one invoice in it. Same experience on multiple workstations. I opened a case with Sage on this. This appears to be news to them. For all you folks starting 2013 upgrades, please report your experience with this. Thanks!

I had a similar issue when printing J/C invoices. It seems to take a lot longer.

We had an experience with a brand new client on Sage 100 premium. We had installed 4.5 but they only had a test company running. Figured we would go ahead and install 2013 since update 1 was out. 2103 crashed and burned trying to run anything on the client. Ended up going back to 4.5. They had limited space on the server so we had tried uninstalling 4.5 rather than creating a whole new instance. That was probably the issue but didn't have time nor energy to figure it out.

Barbara, did you get anywhere with the case? I have installed PU2 and still have issues with printing speeds.

I reported back to Sage that PU2 had NO effect. They are still ""working on it"". I saw your update to the Sage Community post - thanks for posting there! Regarding the multi-part issue, I have a case open on that, as well. The client I opened the case for got PR multi-part working, but not AP. I didn't watch her do this, but she somehow ended up with a situation where if you go to Printers & Faxes in Control Panel, you only see one printer, but in multi-part configuration, she has multiple ""printers"" available. One is called HP XXXX (Tray 1). Another HP XXXX (Tray 2). I don't recall the specifics, but I'm hoping to do a remote session with her in the next day or two, so I'll report back when I have an update. Another client is having basically the same problem, but they will change to sending a copy to Paperless.

I got multi part working... just not the preferred method. Now we have multiples of the same printer with tray defaults set. Thanks for the update!
