Vendor Memo's not auto-displaying in Item Maint/Inq > Orders when drilling down on PO's: In 4.40.0.5, we noticed that although our Vendor memo auto-displays in PO Entry, it does NOT auto-display when drilling into that same PO via Item Maint/Inq > Orders. Anyone have any info on this issue?

I wander if it's considered a WAD. In memo settings I do not see anything about access to Item maint/Inq. I have same results in 4.4.6

Did you look in the IM memo maintenance? Hard to tell from post what settings you have looked at. Probably a WAD in that the actual setting switch is no where where you would expect it. There are SEVERAL role maintenance switches like this...........

I tried this out and my assessment is that it's a bug because if you test the customer side of things, it works there. So either it's a bug, or it's WAD which means they designed the software to be inconsistent from one module to another (which would not surprise me).

Oh, let's not start talking about the inconsistencies between modules!!! This thread could go on for days..................

I was just training a customer on 4.40 today. They asked ""why is there a Compare PY button on the inventory screen, but in the customer screen it's called ""switch view""? I had no answer. They said it should be called ""compare PY"" everywhere because ""switch view' means nothing unless you know what view it's switching to.

Why doesn't vendor maintenance have a next vendor # button?

Mine is out there somewhere. But again, why should we have to? Consistency is a big deal and is easy to do if you REALLY are committed to do it. Something I just don't see at Sage.
