Value Pyramid"" for Affiliates. Wayne's comment at the tail end crystalized a misunderstanding in our discussion about this. For me, the value in a 90 Minds Affiliate membership is the opportunity to educate (not ""sell"") 90Minders who are dealing with a customer challenge in an area they aren't already expert.
Clearly being involved in mainstream Socialcast stream won't do this. IMO Websitepipeline has done a good job of using its 90 Minds presence to communicate what they do and how they are different; I haven't done a webstore project yet, but I know WSP's fundamentals AND that they won't BS me when i call to preliminary qualify them for a specific need.
That latter element was part of a SC issue a couple days ago about POS options. It was discussed between consultants, but it could also have resulted reaching out to Fusion -- if they'd had the relationships developed like WSP.
Anyway, this is what I have in mind about the ""underlying value of 90 Minds Affiliate Memberships.
