    v5.4 premium - End user has fifty or so inventory items that have incorrect average costs. Sage KB 20953 addresses the issue and requires a signed pre-release agreement in order to receive and install the average cost fix utility. Does anyone have this utility i can download? Why would we have to sign an agreement to run a utility? Is it that dangerous????

    I do not believe they have released it to the general public. We had to get one for a client recently, but were under the impression it was based on the client specific scenario. Ours was for v2017 Advance, all items were Standard Cost, there is a 3rd party involved and all items had incorrect Average Cost. I don't have it (another consultant did the work); but we were led to believe it was specific to the customers scenario. IDK

    You can also try running the ""Recalculate Item History"", that recalculates average cost. Try it out in a test company first. Maybe it will help.
