v5.1 premium .. User wants to start using Sage Intelligence. They want 2 people to be able to design financial statements. I know we get one report manager by default. What do we need to add? Two Designers? One Designer and another report Manager? I am confused on how the licensing works. Are the user licenses tied to the Sage 100 logon or to the Windows Server logon?

In total: they need 1 designer, 2 report managers, 1 connector if they are going to consolidate companies for reporting or use SI for other module reporting. License is tied to the workstation.

Just have them get the unlimited monthly subscription. Then you don't have to think about it.

The Designer and the Connector are a site license. The Report Manager and Report Viewer are individual licenses, tied to the workstations like Nancy said.

Oh, yes, the unlimited monthly subscription is a great way to go!

BTW, you'll need to install the Report Designer Add-in on the local workstations, regardless of whether you purchase subscription or non-subscription. It's free once you buy the Designer.

If the customer still only has the included Report Manager, and they need anything additional, opt for the bundle. Once you add anything past the 1 Report Manager you can't then add the bundle, although perhaps that has changed. @DougHiggs Your inquiry reminds me of the air force base scene from This Is Spinal Tap: Lt. Hookstratten: Uh, I would like to get the playing on about 1900 hours, if that's satisfactory. Derek: When would that be? Lt. Hookstratten: I make it now... it's about 1830 hours. Derek: So, that's what? Fifty hours? David: Hundred and twenty hours?
