v4.5 just installed service update 6 I am receiving the attached message when trying to convert data. I have spoken with both Sage and v-Tech and both say they can't help and it's the other persons problems. Does anyone know how to get around this?

It seems like v-tech could send you the Starship Link to install? Not sure which one is compatible with PU 6.

What level are you converting from? Will Shipping Link be used on 4.50? If not you could try uninstalling it: LM > Setup > System Configuration > Uninstall button on top right.

I am converting from 4.5.5 to 4.5.6, they will continue to use Starship. V-Tech sent me the link to install v2.0.1

I don't see anything to uninstall in LM

It might be reading the DataLevel or SubLevel field in CI_EnhancementActivation for the Shipping Link enhancement record (as opposed to the Job Ops records). See if installing v 2.0.1 updates this record. If it doesn't you could possibly backup the file and DFDM edit it.

Check what @WayneSchulz said. If it's ISM Ship Link install that and see if it fixes. Otherwise, look at SY_EnhancementModule in Mas_System instead. Back it up first. Assuming there's a Ship Link record there look at the ConversionLevel and SubLevel. Maybe you can tweak it so it thinks a conversion isn't required.

Yes they did have ISM installed at one time. I spoke with ISM and they do not have an un-installer, the programs have to be manually deleted. I have deleted all files that contain 517, their developer code but still have the same conversion issue

Lisa just so it may help someone in the future who runs into this, let me state what the actual fix was. Through debugging tools we found when you clicked Convert in Company Maintenance, the SY_CompanyConversion_ui.pvc file in Links was loading SY234_CompanyConversion_ui.pvc program in SY folder. This is a DSD overload program presumably to convert DSD enhancements. We found it was tied to an eBiz extended soln. Since client didn't use it anymore, instead of requesting an updated version from DSD it made more sense to just rename SY_CompanyConversion_ui.pvc in Links.
