v4.45 Premium.. Bill of Materials Production Register. Once every two months or so it is discovered that an inventory value is screwed up. It can be traced to production entry. They attached example is from March but this happened again last week. I looked at the BOM Maintenance and it looks OK. Has anyone seen this?

I would check for negative quantity on hand when this happens. Every time I've seen crazy unit cost, the quantity was negative when production entry was done.

Is the issue the cost or that whacky Qty?

The cost is OK. The quantity on hand has never gone negative. The issue is the Qty on the bill of material production register.

Is the std u of m still ""EA"" for that item in Item Maintenance? If you do a Costed Bill does that item do the same thing?

Yes, Std UOM is EA. Costed bill of material does not do the same. The item that causes the issue is also a bill (sub-assembly). I looked at all of the UOMs and ran a costed BOM for the sub-assembly and all is well. Copy to a test company and can't re-create.
