v4.4 User is authorized to enter sales orders. How do you prevent the user from changing the GL account numbers for sales and cost of sales for each line item?

Security setting? But I am not seeing it...

@JeffSchwenk I looked everywhere.. security settings, setup options. I can't find it either. Seems it would be considered important to prevent unauthorized users from changing GL accounts.

Custom Office disable field for that user or group?

v2016 (via CO) If you want to show the fields but disabled, ""add"" both and select 'disable' as @KellySappington said. I think that just adds 2 addt'l fields in non- gl acct format, plus it keeps the 2 orig fields. However, you can hide those on the hide screen. Weird.

This is actually 4.45 SQL and cant disable any SO line fields fields using custom office.

Never mind. Yes I can hide the fields using custom office. I could have swore I looked at this last week and I couldn't see the fields. I thought maybe it was because it was 4.45 SQL. Thanks @KellySappington @BrettZimmerman and @JeffSchwenk for the help.

Btw, it does look like you can ""add"" _formatted_ gl acct fields.

I knew I wasn't crazy... I can hide fields for ALL users and ALL companies, but when I try it for a specific user / company combo pack it wont klet me. Workaround is copy the ALL ALL program from the custom folder to the DLH ABC custom folder.
