Hey, just wanted to add that this also fixed my 2025, which was doing the same thing. HMMMMM

Subject: v2026 - MASCRCW.EXE Does Not Open
Epilogue - After another two plus hours on my system, this is the resolution.
UNINSTALL the workstation runtime DLLs, then reinstall them using WKSETUP Autorun.exe! After the DLLs have been reinstalled, CANCEL the installation process. There is no need continue with the fix/modify steps!
I shared this with @Beth Bowers. She confirmed that it resolved her issue as well.
That simple!
The above step is part of my SOP process for installing the workstation. For reasons unknown to me, I skipped the step when installing v2026. My bad!
Below is Nate's (tech support) resolution writeup .
1. Uninstall existing SAP Crystal Reports Runtime x86 and x64
2. Rename the following folders if they still exist:
1. C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Crystal Decisions
2. C:\Program Files (x86)\Crystal Decisions\
3. Reinstall SAP Crystal Reports runtime Engine
When installing Sage 100 2026 on a workstation with Sage 100 2023-2024 The installer should uninstall any existing version of Crystal Reports Runtime (Sage 100 2024 comes with Crystal Reports Runtime 13.0.30 and 2025 and 2026 comes with 13.0.34).
Note: If version 13.0.34 was already installed with 2025, it will not be reinstalled during the Sage 100 2026 installation.
1. Open Program (Apps) and Features
2. Uninstall 'SAP Crystal Reports runtime engine for .NET Framework (32-bit) and (64-bit)
3. (if running Sage 100 32-bit) Browse to ...\MAS90\wksetup\Prerequisites\CrystalRuntime\
4. Double-click 'CR13SP34MSI32_0-80007712.MSI' to install a 32-bit version of Crystal Runtime NOTE: Using Autorun.exe to reinstall Crystal Reports Runtime also works
NOTE: In some environments, run the .MSI file using 'run as administrator' to avoid

Sage Support Update - Nathon and Angelo spent about 90 minutes on a session. They uploaded files for further evaluation.

No rp_ files - make sure you have a backup. A recent 2025 conversion two custom reports got hosed by mascrw.exe (file size was 0).

Surprise, surprise, Support is unable to duplicate (Community Hub). I have requested a support case # to expedite the support call.
FWIW, I remigrated the data and converted. This time, I converted all companies AND the Crystal reports. For good measure, I went all in and updated the CO panels as well.
Crystal Reports converted this time around. First time that I took this route. I did not see any status update panel for the Crystal process. No log was created that I could see. Would be nice to have a log. On the good news front, I did not have to delete the *.rp_ files upon completion.

To late. Small data sets. Didn't take that long.
Thanks for the thought.

Instead of remigrating, perhaps copy the MAS_ABC folder from 2025 to 2026, and convert that... which should enable the option to convert reports.

Exactly what is happening to me (little circle, then nothing). Since I have converted the data and said no to the other two options, I don't get a mulligan to convert in Sage. I suppose I can remigrate the data and hope for the redo option....
Did you run this up the Sage flagpole?

Not just you, hon. Mine looked like it was going to run (the little circle thing showed up briefly), but then it decided NAW. I checked and it's not in Task Manager, either. The odd thing is that apparently it works INSIDE Sage, though, because my reports converted.
