    Now that v2021 has been released to the wild, let's start an issues thread.  The intent will be provide ONE place for members to post thoughts, experiences and issues encountered during installation and subsequent usage.

    Great thought!!  I installed v2021 on the office system (vanilla with only UDF's and some scripting)  Install was unremarkable.  No errors during the migration and conversion of data.  I did encounter the 1099 NEC issue that Beth posted on, but that was a carryover issue  resolved by an existing KB.

    I processed PR last night and realized that the MICR field on the check (I use blank check stock) was out of position due to the expansion of the check number field.  After moving it to the left .4", the MICR field was close enough for government work.  For those maintaining installation checklists, this step should be added.

    Jeff - Great idea.

    Might I suggest we consolidate this on a  Google Doc so that people could print it out.

    I started one here - 

    Sage 100 2021 Upgrade & Implementation Notes

    Please add any 3rd parties who you know are ready for Sage 100 2021 ( version 7.00 ) including download links if available

    I think you should be able to view it and request edit rights which I will add as people request and want to make changes

    I'm trying to go right to 2021 with as many of my current upgrades as possible as I think the OAuth feature is probably worth pushing customers toward 2021.


    Updates:
    - Added ScanForce to available 2021
    - Added Avalara to available 2021
    - Sent email to APS - will add info when received

    This may just be my computer.
    My default web browser is Google Chrome
    I DO have Microsoft EDGE installed

    Go into Sage 100 2021
    Click on the right side Resources tab
    Click on File Layouts and Program Information

    If my default browser is Chrome it seems to hang Sage ( sometimes I have to wait a minute or two )
    When I change my default browser to Microsoft Edge things do not seem to hang when I click the same link

    I have not exhaustively tested and this may just be related to something else on my computer,

    Update: Changing the default browser may not have fixed. I seem to keep locking up Sage after accessing the File Layouts web URL.

    @Madeline Stefanou - C'mon int.  The water is great.  Not too deep either.  Install it at the office for in house usage and go from there.  Pick a few vanilla clients and have at it.  If no one starts the journey, when will the others now when to start?​

    If we create a document listing what we've collectively found - then when a customer asks "are there any bugs" ( I get that question 99% of the time when suggesting an upgrade ) you can hold out this document as the collective knowledge and say "this is what my group has noted". 

    Gets you off the hot seat, IMHO - and customers love that you did some "free research" for them

    Just a "little Itch", when right clicking on a menu item, in the past a window would open with an option to open in a secondary company.  It seems to be workstation related as it opens normally on another WS.

    if anyone figures out the issue with workaround, please post back.  As I said, a little itch.

    It is a video issue.  I have three monitors.  The laptop monitor displays as expected.  The two external monitors (larger) do not display properly.  BUT, in v2020, all three monitors display properly.  So something IS different in v2021.  Will live with it as I don't feel like waiting on hold for an hour only to be told it can't be duplicated.....  Too bad 90M's don't have red phone privileges to tech support......................

    Installed v2021 ADV over weekend at client.  Fairly smooth.  Only big itch was the custom office UDF's.  Client has about 10 UDF's on tab one of SO entry and SO invoice entry.  The actual UDF fields (not descriptions) did not display.  After opening in CO panel and saving, they appeared.  I had to do this for each user.  Panel modifications were for All users/ALL companies.   Custom Office utilities were ran immediately after data conversion.

    Just an observation.  Will post if issue repeats for other conversions.

    Running Aatrix reports in v2021.  Anyone having issues????  Getting error messages when trying to run a v2021 941.  Started at a client, both at a workstation and on the server.  Uninstalled Federal reporting, reinstalled.  Errors occur after selecting the form, but before the automatic update kicks in.  Downloaded updates from Attrix (http://aatrix.com/sagemas), installed without issue.  Still get error (though not the same).  Tried to run report on BLS office v2021 install (both on a workstation and the server), still getting the hiccups.

    Not sure if this is a mere coincidence since it is happening on multiple installs.

    Can others verify on their v2021 installs?

    Sage has an Aatrix related report which appears to impact 2021 and deals with them ( or Aatrix ) having added encryption. Within the report they talk about rolling back an Aatrix update so it seems like there could have been something going on between Aatrix and Sage.

    Wow, hot off the press (published today).  I did install the update from the Aatrix site.  Got a different error message.

    Guess I will wait until it get closer to the quarter end for a resolution......  Otherwise, I can envision a LOT of pissed off users....

    Well, the quarter end is just around the corner and no solution that I can find.

    BUT the workaround for ADV users is to run Sage in MAS90 mode.......

    See attached KB.

    Update to Note:  Client running similar set up to my office server does not have issue.
