  • 1.  v2020 Payroll Calculation / Printing Checks

    How does one go about finding the source of this irritation?  New conversion, trying to get through an entire cycle for testing.  Am at the check printing stage and this pops.  100 employees.  Audit report looks fine.  Paryoll Header table shows no indication of a negative check.  Payroll tax file does not show any negative amounts subject to taxation.  What am I overlooking.  I guess it would be nice if Sage would put an error warning on the calc report.  Unless I am overlooking it.

    Preview the payroll data entry audit report and search for negative.  It should display a message by the employee with the negative check.

    OK, found it be looking at the Payroll Tax Detail more closely the second time.  Also, the Data Entry Audit Report does indicate issue with ********Blocked Check******** verbiage.
