  • 1.  v2019 Upgrades - duplicated DSD enhancement menu items

    I'm waiting to hear back from DSD, but I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced duplicated DSD enhancement menu items during v2019 Upgrades.

    • Yesterday - Std Upgrade from v2016 with APCB (Cash Basis); both menu items appear to be functional. 
    • From about 2 months ago (Joe D had assisted) - Adv Upgrade from v2015 with MRMA (Electronic Reporting); only one menu item worked, the other yielded something like "not available on system".

    I experienced duplicate custom reports for a Certipro mod on a recent upgrade to 2019.  Both worked.  Interestingly, in sy_menu_ui only one was showing so I left it alone.... for now.  I will probably call Certipro and get it cleaned up.

    I've had this on a couple of different installs.  I think mine was always one functional, one not.  As usual, I was swamped enough that as long as one worked, I was good.  :-)

    Yes, on a payroll enhancement. 

    One works, one is invalid.

    Used SY_Menu_UI to delete the bad one.

    With the prior Upgrade with P/R and DSD's MRMA, I did try to use sy_menu_ui, but no-go because I think that only showed the one menu item (similar to @Doug Higgs).  I didn't bother trying that on the other more recent Upgrade with APCB.  I wasn't too-too concerned with this since at least one of the duplicated menu items worked; more so just wanted to make DSD aware and inquire whether this was a known issue since it was a similarly repeated issue I encountered somewhat close together.

    Per @Kenneth Phillips at DSD:  We have fixed the issue with 6.00/6.10 Payroll and MR-Electronic Processing menu items with current builds, so if you upgrade other Legacy Payroll and Magnetic Media/Electronic Processing DSD Enhancements, you should not see any menu problems with the installations.
