  • 1.  v2019 Premium, conversion window & company maintenance closes and doesn't finish converting

    Anyone working this weekend?  Customer is on v2016 Standard with DSD PR-1090 and DSD Electronic Reporting enhancements.  Converting to Premium v2019 without enhancements.  I did not uninstall enhancements at all but do have a support email to DSD asking if I should.
    Smaller Companies seem to be converting fine but have one bigger one that is hanging.  I start the conversion, go through the payroll conversion wizard, no local taxes involved, it starts converting AP, AR, etc and then gets to Converting PR_Employee and it gets to 72% and then closes and also closes Company Maintenance.  I start it again and same thing.
    I tried rebuilding Payroll Key files in v2016, migrating again and converting.  Same results.  
    I included the Payroll Conversion Log, which shows PR1 to PR_employee tables opened successfully and then nothing else.
    This company does have a lot of UDF's to be converted, not sure if that's a problem or not.  
    The PR1 in v2016 does have 4700 records in it.
    I have other companies that I'll continue to convert and see how they turn out, but wondering if anyone has any suggestions?

    At this point you may have called Sage already.  Is there data in the new ​PR_Employee table?  I know that it is difficult, yet can you tell where the data stopped? I try to look at any details in the last record, though that is not a guarantee that it really was the last record read.

    I hadn't yet called them but thanks for the tip as I checked and yes I only have some employees but also found hosting company didn't install .Net3.5 so most of the employee information is missing anyway.  Ugh!  Installed and going to try conversion again and now have to reconverted all the other payroll companies too.

    (I'm surprised that Sage 100 would install without the .NET pre-req... normally it should fail until that is done).
