v2018 with Payroll 2.18.5: Customer is processing the first payroll of the year. ALL of the employee deductions have been reset to 0 for YTD Amounts and Goals. Now what?!?!

I used an import into PR_EmployeeDeductions to fix that mess.

Yes, it is the same.

This was easy enough to create. Fortunately I had a copy of their data prior to the period close, so I used V/I to export from PR_EmployeeDeduction and then set up an import to match. Loaded on customer's system and they're on their way.

Interesting. It also wiped out the GL accounts in Company Tax Group Setup for the state.

Did you get this resolved with the Tax Group states getting fixed? Sounds like you had a rough ride but I just wrapped up a 4 month upgrade with multiple PR issues where VI was used a lot. It took several of us to get this done for our client but if you have PR VI questions or questions on where the data is I did get way more exposure then I ever wanted. LOL One more thing to note FEDERAL in Tax Group never sets the .6000% percent and this years date with the one item in the drop down. Be sure you do it for the client or they may not notice

Carmen, yes, I got it resolved. I checked the % in the FEDERAL group since I was already there making changes to CA, and it had the correct rate. I spoke with Gerri in support late today. She said she's aware of several customers reporting that the deduction amounts reset to zero, but she hasn't been able to reproduce it.

@KarenOLane, are you saying the regular amounts to deduct in employee deduction maintenance were zero'd out or the values for the YTD and quarterly amounts for 2018 as shown in the deductions tab have been zero'd out?

@alanniergarth Employee Maintenance - Deductions tab - The Amount/Rate, Goal, and Balance were all zeros.
